Our names are Bob and Cindy Floyd. We live in a suburb of Denver Colorado. We believe Colorado is like heaven on earth. We have all four seasons to enjoy and we can look out our front window and see the beautiful Rocky Mountains; purple mountain majesty at its finest.

We met in high school, and married a few years after graduation. We have two hugely successful children and two of the most precious grandchildren you’ll ever want to meet; if we don’t say so ourselves. We consider ourselves truly blessed.

 

After many years of success in the corporate world, we found ourselves not feeling fully satisfied with where our careers had taken us. Growing up in the Baby Boomer generation gives you a different perspective on life, we knew we did not have to settle for where we were, so we started searching for something better. We wanted a future that not only made us happy but would help others and our family to live more fulfilling lives.

So we started our own home based business. We have built that business with a strong desire to always be honest in our serving of others and to never stop driving towards the lifestyle of our dreams.

Our Internet business is something anyone can do. Everything you need to know about building a business is available to you. We are no smarter, or more educated. All you need is a passion and an uncompromising belief in yourself and success will be yours.

We truly love our home business. We love working and playing together everyday. Our ability to share every aspect of our lives has enriched us beyond anything we could have imagined as we began our business.

So How Did We Get Involved In This Business

When we graduated from high school in Boulder Colorado, we had the same aspirations for our future as any high school graduating student. We would go to college, get a job, raise a family and then retire rich to enjoy the rest of our lives.

We must say we did pretty well. Bob went to college right out of high school; he majored in Engineering, which was perfect for him since he’s very analytical. When he got out college he went to work in the Finance business. That was the beginning of a very successful ten years in the Mortgage and Banking industry, starting as a bank teller, manager and Vice President of a local commercial bank. When the bank he worked for closed, Bob decided to change careers. He studied and passed the Realtors Exam and went to work for a Real Estate Company. This was the start of Bob’s entrepreneurial journey. From here he has started several successful home businesses in the Real Estate and Network Marketing industries.

All of Bob’s corporate careers gave him great experience in working with people, but his constant drive to find the precise home based business gave him the “there are no failures, just experience” mentality every entrepreneur needs to succeed.

Cindy went to business school right out of high school. Her first job was in the bookkeeping department of one of the local banks. She took some time off to have their children. When she decided to go back to work she landed in a large high tech company. She spent 13 years there. This is where she gained all her computer experience; how to repair them, application coding and then management. From there she went to a generic pharmaceutical company where she spent 10 years and became their Corporate Information Officer. Those years of top level management in the Information Technology industry helped her gain a superior knowledge of computers and business processes.

If you know anything about IT, you know that much of these services are being outsourced to minimize the company costs. So when the company she worked for merged with a European company most of the services moved. When she was asked to move or take a severance package she took the package. We have never looked back.

We believe nothing happens without a reason or a purpose. This was the best thing that could have ever happened to us. The kids were grown and we had the freedom to start our own business.

So…..that’s exactly what we did. We spent time performing research on different opportunities and industries. We knew we really wanted to work at something that would help people, while still making a good living for us. The satisfaction of helping others is what we were missing in the corporate environment. Our journey took us down many paths, and as we maneuvered those paths we gained more and more knowledge about Internet Marketing.

So What Did We Find We Were Up Against????

As you probably already know; Network Marketing (MLM) is a great way to make money from home. Sadly only 5% of them will become successful.

Why? Because most of the network marketing companies use tactics that most people are not comfortable performing. They want you to contact all your friends and family, talk to anyone that will listen to you, and purchase huge amounts of product, which can take a bite out of many new associates budget.

So…..when friends and family won’t buy from you anymore and your left holding the bag of unsold product, you started to feel a bit defeated.

Luckily we would not give up. We knew in our hearts that if we were to reach our goals and live our dreams, persistence would be a major factor.

The other reason new home business ventures and newbie entrepreneurs fail is they don’t have the proper mindset. How you think as an employee is far different from being the CEO of your own business.

That’s why Attraction Marketing is such a powerful technique all marketers should embrace. What Attraction Marketing is not, is the old fashion way of network marketing; making lists of all your friends and family, cold calling non-targeted people, and so on, you know the drill.

It really boils down to people don’t like to be sold…..but they do like to buy.

The goal in Attraction Marketing is to offer what people are looking for; to become irresistible so they feel they can’t live without your product or services. They are coming to you; you don’t have to hunt them down. This creates a relationship from the beginning. They want what you have and you want to serve them. How great is that????????
