So far we have discussed lead purchase options and article marketing. Some of this has been free and other options you would have to pay for.
Pay per click –this is really one of the most profitable methods of obtaining leads but it can also be the most costly to the beginner. You have several choices, Google, Yahoo, AdBrite, Ad Click…and many more.
Google Adwords of course is the grand daddy of them all but not the play ground for the beginner. If you want to get a feel for how pay per click advertising works try using a small company first. And while you’re experimenting here get educated on Google. There is plenty of training from Google and packages to purchase.
Your first option should be to review what Google has to offer on their site. There are videos to help you understand each process of creating and monitoring your ads. They offer some questions to ensure you can do this on your own.

There are also options to purchase training.
I recommend Perry Marshall’s “5 Days to Success with Google Adwords”
http://www.perrymarshall.com/google/index.htm
This is a great way to get familiar with Google Adwords for free.
If you like what he has to offer in those 5 days I would highly recommend purchasing his “Definitive Guide to Google Adwords”. This is not free but loaded with all the right information to make you an expert with Google Adwords.

If you really want to get started on this path you can get your feet wet with small companies like Adbrite. http://www.adbrite.com/
This is smaller price point than Google however; there is not as much visibility with this company than with Google. In other words not as many people offer this as a solution on their websites, so your click through is obvious less.
We recommend this option simple to get you started and for you to learn without it costing you an arm and a leg.
Happy Advertising!
