I know you have all heard a lot about outsourcing, heck I was the victim of outsourcing in the corporate world several times. But as a home business owner that experience hasn’t soured me out the need to outsource.

We are all very busy people and when you’re a one man band, as most early home business owners are, all your daily tasks can soon seem very over whelming. So rather than wondering what you’re article is going to be about today as you stand there brushing your teeth do as I have done in the past:

Hire A Ghost Writer.

There are many well qualified ghost writers you can contact all over the internet that can write articles or blog posts for you on just about any subject.

Start by posting a project with Elance.com or Guru.com. If you’re not familiar with these outsourcing services they are very simple to use. With Elance.com and Guru.com you post a project defining what you’re looking for and there are providers who search the database daily looking for work.

I especially like these online services because they allow you to see reviews other people have written on someone you might be considering hiring.

How to request a project:

It is always important to be clear in what you are hiring for. In other words when defining the project or job make sure the requirements are clearly defined. Below is a good list to follow when establishing your project

Determine the length, in number of words or pages you are requesting to be written for you.

Define clearly the content and purpose of your project, i.e.. web content, search engine optimized web content, online article, how-to report, ebook, or white paper. By clarifying your home business opportunity and document needs insures you will get the right type of writer biding the project.

Define format delivery requirements. Are you looking for a website, MS Word document, pdf format, html.

Be very clear on the deadline. If you have an exact date by which you need your project state that. This will save you a great deal of stress in the future and it allows the provided to know if they can fit the project in their schedule.

After you have completed these steps you will soon begin receiving bids. Review those bids to see if they can meet your needs. A word of Caution here, the lowest bidder does not always mean the best deal. As my dad use to say “you get what you pay for”. And I have experience this first hand.

Building a website that drives tons of free traffic to your business opportunity landing page is the dreams and desires of every home based business entrepreneur. But just having a nice looking website is not likely to get you the traffic you need to make huge profits. Your site needs to be optimized to drive that traffic your way.

I’m sure you have seen and possibly clicked on those nice fancy sites from some well-known business opportunity. It sure did look nice, and I’m sure they spend thousands of dollars having their experts create a well organized site. But did you buy from them or where you just browsing?

So although it’s great to have lots of free traffic coming to your site, it needs to be optimized to your target market so you’re getting the right people to purchase your product of service.

So just how do you get this coveted traffic?

Search Engines – make friends with your local search engine. And when you do you’ll find they really don’t care much about how pretty your business opportunity website looks. It can’t even read those nice fancy flashing graphics someone spent so much time placing in just the right place. What the search engines are looking for is content.

The internet is all about information. So the search engines are looking for good content when someone surfs the internet for information on your particular business opportunity.

You’ve heard the old business adage LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. Well on the internet a businesses success is with INFORMATION, INFORMATION, INFORMATION.

So what do I do?

Simply provide the information your target market is looking for. Building a moneymaking website is not as hard as many may think. Here are a few tips to get you started.

Create a blog. These are interactive and easy to maintain. There are several nice Wordpress products available that will provide fully optimized templates, taking the guess work out it. Or you can use many of the free templates posted all over the internet and add a few plugins.

Make sure that you have as many on-page keywords in your blog posts that the search engines will look for when someone enters that as their search criteria for your niche.

Create as many hyper-links to your business opportunity product as you desire. This is your blog so you have the say so. Don’t go crazy however; you might be viewed as spamming.

Now use Google Analytics to monitor the traffic. This tool gives you great stats on who is hitting your blog and then going on to your product or service page. If you find that you have a lot of traffic that is not converting, change the keywords on the blog to more tightly target your business niche.

None of this is hard, just time consuming. And you don’t have to have any degrees to create your own moneymaking website. Everything mentioned here is free; other than some hosting that will cost you a little bit of money, making all the free traffic and potential profits a real deal.

The more home business owners I talk with tell me that besides the money they can make the second reason they started their own home business was the freedom it gives to travel and enjoy life.

The one I like best is Google Alerts. This coupled with Google reader can help you monitor your industry and stay just head of the competition. Every network marketing guru will tell you that the money is in the list, and they would be right. Without a list of hungry buyers, you my friend will starve. When someone new starts a home based business the first thing they are likely to ask their sponsor is “how do I get a list?”

If you have a savvy sponsor he or she will have the answer to that question for you. If you’re not so lucky, below is a list of a few ways you can begin to build your own list of prospect and customers for your profit generating list.

Offer something for free:

You have to give something to receive something –mom told you that I’m sure. If you want people to give you their name and email you have to entice them to do so. Nothing works better than the work FREE! This doesn’t have to always be something; it can also be your knowledge. People want to know how you made you riches, share that with them.

Most network marketers offer things like free e-books, reports, interviews with the rich and famous, as long as it has value, and they believe it can help solve their problem they will gladly give you their name and email address.

If you are new to network marketing and don’t have giveaways, simply search for free public domain books, you will find something there you can turn into your own. If you don’t find something there, try hiring a ghost writer. They may cost a little bit, but you’ll make it up in sales from this list you’re building.

Pop-Ups:

Are you noticing more pop-ups on sites these days? Well you should they are a very effective way to get someone’s information. If you advertise or surf traffic sites you will see some advertisers use drop downs, roll over’s, closing banners, there are all types of methods to capture the prospects email.

I personally like the exit pop-up. At this point they have a least skimmed your site for information they’re looking for. If for some reason that was not very evident on the sales page you have one last opportunity on the exit pop-up. Offer one last “sweat” deal they can’t possibly refuse, and of course it should be FREE!

Post your Subscriber box on every page of your website:

This is a clever little trick many new marketers over look. Posting a subscriber box everywhere they look gives your prospect multiple opportunities to take you up on your free offer and if it’s on every page they don’t have to go looking for it which will increase your odds of capturing that valuable information.

Post Card:

Hey gang, these are CHEAP! With some creativity you can really capture your prospects information. I use these to drive them to a website. There they have to give me their information before they get what they came after- Fair Trade!

Contests:

People love contest, well actually they love to win something FREE. I like to use these as a way of not only gathering emails but to find out what people in the industry are really thinking.

Ask them to a question, the one with the best answer, voted by their answering peers wins the prize. Make sure you always publish who won; this makes the contest and you seem much more trusting.

Ask:

Last but by no means least…ask. If you’re at social event, on the phone, or at your place of business ask your prospect for their email address. If you tell them you want to send them a FREE gift about something you have just been discussing you will be surprised how forthcoming people are with this information.
